Libby Amato is delighted, as always, to work with Milwaukee Irish Arts…especially on this delicious play, Dead Man’s Bells, with these fiercely talented women! She was last seen in Optimist Theatre’s production of TWELFTH NIGHT: OR WHAT SHE WILL. Libby also plays the full-time role of Administrative Coordinator for Next Act Theatre. Other Theatrical credits include: Romeo in Romeo and Juliet with Fleeing Artists, Rosie from Things I Know to be True with Kith and Kin, and Miranda from The Tempest with Voices Found Rep.

Maura Atwood (she/they) has performed with many Milwaukee theater companies, including Sunstone Studios, Off the Wall, Cooperative Performance, and Acacia Theatre. She is a company member of Kohl’s Wild Theater. Some of her favorite past productions include Wait Until Dark with Sunset Playhouse, Richard III with Mad Rogues, and Twelfth Night with Summer Stage. “And all my fortunes at Thy foot I’ll lay, and follow Thee my Lord throughout the world.”

Brittany Boeche-Vossler has consistently worked in theater performance, stage management, and non-profit administration since receiving her B.A. in Theatre from UW-Parkside in 2014 and a certificate in Non-Profit Management. She is currently the Director of Program Administration at First Stage, and enjoys performing when she finds the opportunity. Past work includes DEAD MAN’S CELL PHONE with Outskirts Theater (Jean), SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO at The Alchemist Theater (Joan), and TWELFTH NIGHT with Bard and Bourban as Sir Toby Belch, for which she received a Footlights Award. She has also worked on shows by Brian Friel and Martin McDonagh, and is pleased to work on a contemporary Irish show. Thanks to Mitch, Lindsey, Arthur, and Aric.

Favorite roles include Cait in BLOOMSDAY, Valerie in THE WEIR, and Julia in THE COUNTRY BOY for which she won the award for Best Actress in Chicago AIITF. Kevin Callahan is a Milwaukee Irish Arts veteran since 1986, having performed in such productions as JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK, THE WEIR, and WHITE WOMAN STREET. But his favorite roles by far were as “Eddie” in THE COUNTRY BOY, opposite his future wife Amy and sharing the stage with their daughter Rose 17 years later in THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS.

Margaret Casey is a twenty year verteran of Milwaukee Irish Arts. She has performed at Milwaukee Irish Fest and at Irish festivals throughout the Midwest and Canada. Locally she has also been onstage with Milwaukee Entertainment Group, Boulevard Theatre, Soulstice Theatre, Alchemist Theatre, Optimist Theatre, and the Seat of Out Pants Readers Theatre.

Robin Christiansen makes a happy return to Milwaukee Irish Arts after initially appearing at Irish Fest 2025 in the role of country gossip James Ryan (SPREADING THE NEWS). Robin’s other recent Milwaukee credits include Father Flynn (DOUBT) in the After Sunset Series, Fenton (THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR) for Bard & Bourbon, and Rick Steadman (THE NERD) at Sunset Playhouse. They previously lived in Chicago, with favorite appearances as Barry Champlain (TALK RADIO) and Shamraev (THE SEAGULL). Robin also volunteers as a Reader for Milwaukee’s Audio & Braille Literacy Enhancement (ABLE), where they record audiobooks of novels and memoirs such as THE DEVIL’S HIGHWAY, FRANKENSTEIN, and TUNNEL, SMUGGLE, COLLECT. A classically trained pianist, Robin also enjoys board games, sailing, and pop science.

Becky Cofta is excited to be part of this complex show with Milwaukee Irish Arts, where she was last seen in The Good Father in 2018. She has worked with Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, First Stage, All In Productions and Milwaukee Entertainment Group.  She also choreographs and teaches dance in the greater Milwaukee area. Madeleine Craig graduated from Ripon College in 2020. In the past she has appeared as Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2018), Loyale in Tartuffe (2019), Hucklebee in The Fantasticks (2019), and Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors (2020). More recently, she has worked on the Milwaukee Entertainment Group’s production of Diary of Anne Frank (2022) as an Understudy and Youth Coordinator, and as Rivkele in the Jewish Cultural Center’s staged reading of God of Vengeance (2022). She is incredibly excited for this production of Dead Man’s Bells, and thankful to participate in such a wonderful production with such wonderful people before she leaves the Milwaukee area.

Fred Diggins is happy to be back performing with Milwaukee Irish Arts. He was last seen with the group in White Woman Street, a production that toured to the Acting Irish International Theater Festival in Dublin Ireland. Fred won the award for Best Supporting actor at the festival for his portrayal of James in White Woman Street. Fred has been an actor and educator for many years.

David Ferrie brings over 59 years of acting experience to this project and is delighted to be working again with Mitch, Laura, Kyle, Kevin and all the other friends in the cast. David recently retired from the ALS Association where he ran the Loaned Equipment Program and now stays busy with commercial and film work. Some of his favorite stage roles are: Colm in SEAMARKS, John in SHINING CITY, Clarence Darrow in DARROW and Atticus Finch in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. David says thanks, as always, to his partner and friend, Mary Ellen O’Donnell for all her patience and support.

L. Mark Flag has acted in, directed, and produced staged plays and Readers’ Theatre performances for schools (Wayland Academy, Brookfield Academy), Soulstice Theatre in Milwaukee, and in collaboration with 53211 Presents for over 35 years. Highlights have been Wisconsin premiere performances of Anna in the Tropics, The Book Club Play, New Jerusalem, 33 Variations, And the Sun Stood Still, and rewarding productions of Heisenberg (2022) Alabama Story (2019), Polish Joke, Over the River and Through the Woods, and Lunch Hour. He produces his work under the name, Seat of Our Pants Readers Theatre Troupe. He is delighted to appear for the first time with Irish Arts for this festival. Thanks to Mr. James Gallagher.

The Workhouse Ward – Michael McInerney

Chris Fleiller is delighted to be making his triumphant return to the Irish Fest stage alongside his dear longtime friends Bo and Leslie. Chris was last seen at Irish Fest producing, directing, and acting in a series of dramatic works by Irish Nobel Laureates over a span of four years as part of In Tandem Theatre, the storied company he founded with his lovely wife, Jane. After shuttering In Tandem’s Milwaukee operations, Chris, Jane, and ninety-one-year-old father Milton moved to Fond du Lac, where he had been teaching Theatre at the now defunct University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh/Fond du Lac Campus. Chris is currently working for the County of Fond du Lac in the newly created position of Prairie Theater and Event Center Manager in the newly converted Fond du Lac County Campus, previously known as UWO/FDL. An accomplished Euchre player, Chris is also a Certified Assistant Teacher Fitzmaurice Voiceworks®, and a Certified Instructor of Seven Pillars Acting®. Favorite roles include Hamlet, Cleopatra, Quimby in Hellzapoppin’, and Father Murphy in So’s Yer Old Man, and he hopes to play them one day. Chris would like to extend his gratitude to Irish Fest, James Gallagher, Eammon O’Neil, Lady Gregory, and whoever left that pint of Jameson and half-eaten banger backstage.

Leslie Fitzwater has been acting and singing professionally for 40. Leslie’s career spans opera, theater, music theater, cabaret, and mime, and her roles have been as diverse as Paddington Bear and Carmen. While Leslie has played her share of well-known characters such as Desiree Armfeldt (A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC), Golda (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF), Fraulein Schneider (CABARET), Agnes (I DO, I DO), Irma (IRMA LA DOUCE) and Marmie (LITTLE WOMEN), Ms Fitzwater is best known for her portrayal of the French chanteuse Edith Piaf. Leslie is a private voice and acting coach, has given seminars on vocal production for the young singer, has taught Voice and Speech at First Stage Theatre Academy, and is an adjunct voice faculty member at Pius XI High School.

Amanda J. Hull is a graduate of UW-Miulwaukee’s BFA Acting & Musical Theatre Program. She is Associate Producer/Production Manager/Aesthetic Designer for the Milwaukee Entertainment Group at the Brumder Mansion and an actor, singer and director locally. Most recently she played Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale & “Little” Edie Bouvier Beale in the concert production of the mucisal GREY GARDENS and Lotty Wilton in ENCHANTED APRIL at Windfall Theatre. See her on stage as Jill/Barb in Windfall’s production of HOPE AND GRAVITY in October.

Bo Johnson has been a member of the Milwaukee theatre community since returning from college in 1982. He has performed in almost two dozen shows with First Stage Chilcren’s Theatre. Work with Next Act Theatre includes SIDEMAN, DEAR ESTHER, and RED HERRING. He has also appeared in many Milwaukee Chamber Theatre shows, such as MEDEA, SMASH and THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAEKSPEARE (ABRIDGED). With the Milwaukee Repertory Theater he was seen in THE DOYLE AND DEBBIE SHOW and GUYS ON ICE. He was a regular performer with ComedySportz for many years and was a cofounder of the now infamous improv troop The Dead Alewives. This is the first time Bo is wowrking as an actor for Milwaukee Irish Arts, although he did direct MIA’s production of THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS, which was the company’s entry for the 2016 Acting Irish International Theatre Festival.

Megan Kaminsky is honored to add Milwaukee Irish Arts to the list of acclaimed theatre companies she’s had the pleasure of working with, including Renaissance Theaterworks, Theatre Gigante, In Tandem, The Boulevard, Splinter Group, and Youngblood, among others. She is a proud graduate of UWM’s Peck School of the Arts BFA Acting program. After a 5 year tenure as an inaugural member of Kohl’s Wild Theater, she moved to Chicago where she spent 8 years working at the renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company. As the Associate Director of Audience Experience, she oversaw all accessibility initiatives, and hopes to continue her advocacy for theatre accessibility now that she’s back home in Milwaukee.

Robert W.C. Kennedy, a handsome six-footer and graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Madison’s Specialist In Acting Major, returns to the Milwaukee Irish Arts stage for the seventh time in 18 years, having first appeared in 2005’s O PARNASSUS at the Acting Irish International Theatre Festival (AIITF) in Chicago. Since then, he has performed at AIITF in Toronto, Canada; Rochester, New York; Dublin, Ireland; and Milwaukee; as well as staging the one-man production of IN HIGH GERMANY for Milwaukee Irish Fest. He as appeared locally with companies that include The Constructivists, Next Act, Optimist, Skylight and Windfall. Aproveite!

A.J. Magoon is a Milwaukee-based actor and arts administrator. Favorite local roles include Thom Pain in THOM PAIN: BASED ON NOTHING (Theatre Nervosa), Jason/Tyrone in HAND TO GOD (Voices Found Rep) and Raleigh in LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC (Acacia Theatre Company). Sarah M. Mankowski-Lathrum, a Milwaukee native, triumphantly returned to her hometown in late 2011. During her sojourn in Connecticut, she starred in several community theater productions, including her “it’s a long way from Broadway” debut as Gertrude Deuter in Steve Martin’s The Underpants in White Plains, NY. As an active member of Milwaukee Irish Arts, Ms. Mankowski acted in more than 20 productions, including Legends and Folktales of the Celtic Tiger, Good Medicine, Thirst, Eclipsed, The Spraying of John O’Dorey, Da, The Brown Man, Purgatory and The Broken Jug. Her favorite roles are – among others – Martha Connor in the Midwest debut of Dan O’Brien’s An Irish Play (Best Actress nomination, Acting Irish International Theatre Festival 2006), Maise in A Galway Girl and the title role in Brian Friel’s Molly Sweeney. Ms. Mankowski is thrilled to be working with Milwaukee Irish Arts again, and dedicates this performance to her dear Aunt Mary (1942-2022), who will be “watching from the wings.”

Laura Monagle is delighted to be making her debut with Milwaukee Irish Arts with this amazing group of people! Favorite roles include Diana Goodman (Next to Normal), Phyllis Hogan (Fat Men in Skirts), Donna Sheridan (Mamma Mia) Sally Durant (Follies), Tamora (Titus Andronicus), and Ouisa (Six Degrees of Separation). Caroline Norton currently serves as the Administrative and Artistic Manager at Next Act Theatre and the Director of Education at Summit Players Theatre. Her directing credits include Gidion’s Knot at Sunstone Studios, The Universal Language at Marquette University, A Midsummer Night’s Dream at First Stage Summer Academy, and Roberta’s Skin at Renaissance Theaterworks’ Br!nk New Play Festival. Staged reading directing credits include Laundry and Bourbon with Next Act Theatre (Spring Reading Series) and Morning Announcements with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (Young Playwrights Festival). Assistant directing credits include Julius Caesar at First Stage Summer Academy, The City of Benedict della Crosse with Brigata Theater and The Rivals at Marquette University. In addition to her directing and administrative work, Caroline has worked as an actor with Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (MKE Black Theatre Festival), Summit Players Theatre, The Constructivists, Sunstone Studios, Voices Found Repertory and Forte Theatre. Eamonn O’Neill has represented Milwaukee Irish Arts for over 30 years In many roles, from the old classics to the contemporary. He is a founding member and the company’s resident Seanachie – storyteller (or terrific liar, if you like). He is also the principal facilitator for the ongoing live theatre venue at Milwaukee’s annual Irish Fest the nation’s largest Irish festival. Eamonn has performed for many local theatre groups including Rehaissance Theatreworks and Cornerstone Theatre, Some of Eamonn’s favorite roles include: The Bartender in Ah, Wilderness and Juror 9 in Twelve Angry Men. Irish theaterworks remains his passion.

Joe Picchetti is thrilled to be making his Milwaukee Irish Arts debut! Nate Press is an actor/director/educator in Milwaukee, WI. His previous credits with Milwaukee Irish Arts are Tim in The Good Father, for which he won ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role’ at the Acting Irish International Theatre Festival held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 2018, Nial Lynch in Moment, for which he won ‘Best Supporting Actor’ at the Acting Irish International Theatre Festival held in Cincinnati in 2015, and a member of the ensemble in 2016’s showing of The Plough and the Stars that was hosted in Milwaukee. He has worked with many theatre companies over the years including Alchemist Theatre, Bialystock & Bloom, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Next Act, Off The Wall Theatre, Renaissance Theater Works, Sunset Playhouse, and Theatrical Tendencies . Some of his favorite rolls from the recent past are: Ned/Walker Janeway in Three Days of Rain (Carte Blanche Studios), Horst in Bent (The World’s Stage), and CB in Dog Sees God (Splinter Group). Nate received his theatrical training at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts.
